Welcome to the club! The information on NinjaGym.com will help guide and direct your training while providing new and constructive information. It should be used in conjunction with the physical training.
To achieve a higher degree of skill in the martial arts, it is important to master both theory and practice. As a student of the Martial Science, you will learn the RTMS basics while working through the lower levels of knowledge. If you have the required self-discipline, you will attain higher levels of wisdom and enter among the inner circle.
The basic techniques of Rick Tew’s Martial Science encompass a wide range of activities and martial arts instruction that are both realistic and effective. Body movements, punches, kicks, rolls, and falls are all integral components of hand-to-hand combat. Eventually, after several years of training like a modern ninja warrior, you will begin to develop your own martial arts style that is tailored to your personal strengths and weaknesses. If your dream is to become an instructor and to help teach and travel with Rick Tew’s Martial Science and CMS (the College of Martial Science), then we will help make that dream a reality.
RTMS is not simply a sport or style of martial art. It is a Martial Science and a way of life. Its strength is based on the student having an open mind. You, as this student, will train in many different areas, techniques, and fields under the guidance of mind, body, and spirit.
If a warrior knows only one style, it will be easy for his enemy to determine how he/she will move, think, and attack. If a warrior knows many arts and adapts them to his/her changing environment, he/she will be an unpredictable and formidable opponent in any situation--what we call a Total Warrior.
The training you will endure is a vehicle to achieving an improved self-worth. Our motives are drawn from our desires for happiness, freedom, and adventure. The RTMS way of life will always be with you in training or in spirit. I look forward to sharing with you the adventures and joys of a lifetime.

Before we get started I want to just let you know that everything you need will be available in the sidebar to the left. And although NinjaGym.com is a FREE Web Site, the testing and coaching is not.

JOIN NINJAGYM
You should have already entered in your e-mail address - if not, do that now. This way you stay up to date on the latest changes and developments. If you are interested in physical training be sure to fill out the full form (it will be on the page after you enter your e-mail address - don’t worry about sending it twice as it will simply update you information:
Enter your e-mail address and then confirm by clicking on the link sent to your e-mail box.
When you are ready to secure yourself as a rock solid official member of the Home Study Program, then sign up for a Testing / Certification package.
SIDEBAR NAVIGATION
Everything you need for RTMS is available in the Sidebar to the left. The sidebar will change every month as we add new elements and improve user functions. Please let us know if you would like to see additions to the Sidebar added.
VIDEOS
The videos are in various formats (.wmv, .flv etc) so ensure that you have the correct players installed on your computer to play the videos. For the Flash .flv videos to work you need the latest version of flash installed. You can get it by visiting the following link:

NOTE: you do not have to visit these sections to progress. The system is organized for you to go from one lesson to the next - just like that of a book. Imagine this is page one. On the Sidebar below each level, you will have a link leading to the next lesson.
LEVEL 1-5
These sections in the Sidebar are where you will learn all your techniques for training and find the 18 lessons required for each level. This is also where you begin. We are working on organizing the lessons and you will see the site develop on a regular basis. This is where you will take step-by-step training. You can go from one lesson to the next. As we add more site lessons you will eventually be able to jump around and work on lessons that interest you the most.
Make sure you revisit these pages often (and refresh your browser using Crtrl R) in order to stay up to date as our site is constantly growing.

NinjaGym Martial Arts Supply is where you can purchase martial art uniforms, ninja training gear, books related to the martial arts, and martial arts training equipment that you might want to have to enhance your ninja training and physical development. If there is something you would like to see available please contact us and we will see about adding it to the list.
USER NAME
If you sign up for our Home Study Program to make use of the NinjaGym Online Dojo and get testing reviews and certification - please follow our rules for creating a user name. Unlike many sites where avatars and nicknames are used, we want you to use your real name and photo and imagine the Web site to be just the same as a real RTMS Martial Arts School or Dojo. When you come to class in person you don’t come as SmurfNinja wearing a Ninja Mask. So be sure your username is your real name (last name) as that is how instructors will be able to communicate with you better.
STEP 3 - GET STARTED
First, you will want to get an official RTMS uniform which can be ordered from the NinjaGym Martial Art Supply Store (if you haven’t done so already). Next, you will need to familiarize yourself with the testing process (available for those paying for testing and review via our Home Study Program) and requirements.
As a student of the Martial Science you will want to get yourself the proper attire to train in. This includes a uniform and belt. You can get your RTMS Uniform and other gear by visiting the Ninja Store section of our Web site. Make sure you place your order well in advance as our Uniforms are Custom made and can require up to 4 weeks for delivery.
Okay, while you are waiting for your uniform and other gear to arrive you can get started on LESSON 1 of 18 from LEVEL 1 which is familiarizing yourself with our Martial Science - Ninjitsu System by reading the RTMS System and Philosophy section or ordering your RTMS Book.
